At home in Boston, spring is in the air and every day the temperature gets closer and closer to 70 degrees. It’s been a beautiful, windows-open month of March for us New Englanders. I have decided that this weekend will be “Operation Winter/Spring Closet Swap!” Every sweater and long sleeve winter garment will be folded and packed away safely in Storage Totes until next fall. Would I like to keep all of my clothes in my closet and on hangers year round? Yes. But, do I have the closet space? Heck no! So clothes, until we meet again … in October.
Thinking of packing your winter clothes up too? Go for it! De-clutter, minimize and think spring!
Is your closet this neat and tiday? If so, I think you need to come situate my closet.
Great post.

Great post Heather, with two little girls, you should see our closets! lets just say I won't be putting up any pictures soon! I really need to start investing in some storage solutions.

I hate storing my winter clothes. Because they are so big (large puffy jackets) they take up so much space. To store my clothes this spring and summer, I'm going to try a commercial storage unit. I've heard they are a very cost effective way to store items I'm not currently using. One thing I'm looking forward to is less clutter in the house.
